Carol provided administration support for the Professional Writing and Editing course at GippsTAFE (now Federation Training). She handled everything from processing enrolments to setting up our learning management system (Blackboard) for online delivery and was always ready to turn her hand to something new.
Carol grasped all processes and software quickly, and with an insight and initiative that meant she was often able to suggest improvements. These included a report on our learning management system which resulted in better use of its functionality, enabling teachers to use the system more innovatively and with greater insight into student study practices online.
I cannot conceive of a more professional and efficient support person.

I asked Carol Tillyer to create a unique wedding reading for my daughter, who is to be married in June 2012. They weren’t happy with readings that they had found online. They were either too romantic or too silly. They wanted something that said it all but wouldn’t put the audience to sleep. It had to reflect who they were as a couple and as individuals, yet still be about love.
Carol was able to put together a reading which flowed beautifully, was slightly humorous, but sincere on all levels, reflecting my daughter and her fiance’s love, and advice for a beautiful future together. I would recommend this lady for any type of creative writing, short or long. She was extremely helpful, with the end result being beyond my greatest expectations. She is extremely talented.
My daughter and her fiancé love the reading and we can’t wait to share it with family and friends. I will be suggesting the use of Carol’s services for my son’s wedding later in the year. This is work of a very high standard yet for a very manageable fee. Highly recommended to all.

Carol was the perfect appointment for the editing of our book, Beneath Dark Skies – A collection of bushfire stories from Callignee, Koornalla, Le Roy and Traralgon South.
When we were tasked with the overwhelming job of editing these stories Carol came to the rescue and delivered a polished product, which I am extremely proud to be associated with. Carol worked incredibly hard under often-delicate situations such as creating a story from police statements. This particular family lost a family member in the fires so it was imperative that she got it right the first time and she did!
Carol was always very co-operative and nothing was ever too much trouble even when we had her editing in her pyjamas on Mother’s day!
I would highly recommend Carol as a professional, thorough and exceptional editor.

I tried so many computer books like PCs for Dummies, but they either contained too much information or didn’t cover the programs I needed help with.
When I asked Carol Tillyer Publishing Services to create a personalised ‘laptop for Dummies’ instruction manual she went above and beyond. Not only did she create a concise and easy-to-follow manual with instructions in words and images, she also set the laptop up, including my internet connection, installed the programs I needed and simplified everything.
She did a fantastic job and I’m no longer lost in the confusing world of computers and the internet. I strongly recommend Carol’s services to other seniors having trouble keeping up with modern technology.

My great thanks in properly fulfilling this literary endeavour go to Carol for her insightful and instructive editing comments on the earlier draft. Carol tightened up the prose and directed me to where it needed further elucidation, illustration and strengthening; placing the reader not in the back stalls, but in that front row. It was through her thoughtful and valuable guidance that I might consider re-entering the long, lonely, but immensely satisfying book-writing trials and joys.

Carol Tillyer came on board to transcribe a selection of interviews filmed at the Copenhagen Climate Summit in 2010 for the development of an online program for the Centre for Sustainability Leadership (March 2010 – Sep 2010). In addition to transcribing, Carol also wrote a number of scripts based around the interviews that were then edited into short documentary films.
I found Carol to be reliable, efficient and creative, and importantly, a talented writer, who was able to create compelling stories based solely on question and answer style interviews.
