About Carol Tillyer

At the age of fourteen I started my first part-time job at a landscape supplier in Queensland where I spent my weekends serving customers, loading trailers with a bobcat and calculating the business’s gross daily profit from sales. In between having children I have accumulated more than ten years experience in accounts in various industries, including freight forwarding, manufacturing and sales.

From reception and customer service through to purchasing, stock control, imports, exports, staff supervision and all facets of accounting, I have been fortunate enough to experience many variables that are all important components of a successful business. I believe my appreciation in so many areas is my desire to always understand the importance of a job, regardless of the size, simplicity or nature of the task at hand.

I have extensive experience using Mac and Microsoft operating systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite. My last recorded data entry and typing speeds were 12000 kph and 60wpm. Also included in the number of software programs I am familiar with are:

Residing in the Macedon Ranges, my desire is to help local businesses improve and/or maintain efficiency, especially during peak periods, without the obligation of permanent employment or paying exorbitant temp agency fees. My prices are based on the job, not my experience. If you need assistance with admin, I’ll charge an admin hourly rate. If it’s bookkeeping, I’ll charge a bookkeeping rate.
